Matthew was my Company Commander while we both worked at the Chaplain Center and School. From the moment I showed up as a young Lieutenant, Matthew embraced the opportunity to train and lead me. During my 15 months working under him I became a better person and a better officer due to his diligence and hard work. There wasn't a day that went by that he wasn't open to mentoring me and providing sound guidance.
