My first mission was a Java-Swing expertise for the BLS project (Borne Libre Service) at Air France. I had to set up a Java-Swing architecture to migrate the former Flash client to a Java-Swing client. After having written a guideline to use this architecture I implemented generic and reusable graphical components in the Air France look and feel to be integrated within the application screens. I developed then with the Air France team the application screens.I then worked in a team of 8 developers on a contractual project for Air France and the Paris CDG Airport. ORAPlus is a critical system which helps agents at the airport plan and control the plane traffic and distribution on the available parking slots. The system supports among other things the optimization of the parking use and of passenger connections.The management of "lost baggage" is done by Air France through many different applications. When I came to the baggage department every application had its own implementation of the business logic. So I was given the task of developing BIL, a sort of middleware which encapsulates the common functionality of all these applications and exposes them as WebServices. Today BIL is used by all the Air France applications dealing with lost baggage.Technologies: Java, Java-Swing, XML, WebServices, SOA, Hibernate, Web Sphere, Struts, Spring. Show less

I worked on different projects, mainly for WERU, DaimlerChrysler and IBM. Most of these projects were contractual projects with challenging dead lines. I used to develop in Java for n-tier systems, first using "fat" Java-Swing clients and then using web clients. I also took part in writing functional specification documents, elaborating test strategies, writing test plans and verifying the product quality thanks to code reviews and extensive tests. As technical leader I gained good knowledge in estimating costs and controlling the project's progress to meet deadlines. I was also involved in the improvement of the Quality Management System of the company writing guidelines and best practices.
