I had the pleasure of working with Margaret over a period of 12 years, first in my role as I-CAR board member, then as board chair, and lastly as an I-CAR staff member. During my tenure on the board, Margaret was instrumental in keeping the board activities advancing and running smoothly. She was organized, extremely knowledgeable on board protocol, and patient with incoming board members as they came up to speed. During my two years as board chair I worked very closely with her to pick effective committee members, craft motions to advance governance and strategic initiatives and just generally get things done to the benefit of I-CAR's growth and service to the inter-industry. I attribute much of my success on the board to Margaret's wisdom and guidance over this period of time. During my close to five years in a staff role, I worked with Margaret on contract issues frequently and sought advice on legal or compliance issues faced by the organization. She has a wealth of knowledge about the inter-industry overall and would be an asset to any organization who needs her unique blend of governance, legal, compliance and process acumen.

I had the privilege of working with Margaret for more than 13 years while she was at I-CAR. Margaret managed legal affairs while at I-CAR and did so with skill and was highly effective. Margaret is proactive, creative, results oriented, and responsible and she is always ready to put all of her energy and time toward achieving solutions. She sees and can address everything from the big picture to the details. She is also highly motivated with great communication skills. She was an asset to the organization and I highly recommend her.
