Jogla was founded in 2009 during my time at RWTH Aachen University, together with Jonathan Reece and Marco Vreydal. Nowadays the software lives on as part of another German company.

I started working for Genius Bytes when I was still a high school student, and continued working 20 hours a week for them during my studies at RWTH Aachen University. - Main product at that time was a domain specific language (DSL) for the specification of user interfaces and behaviour of multifunctional printers (MFPs). Other notable projects were - An Emulator for the DSL in a PC environment, simulating behaviour of a multifunctional printers - A floor plan / printer layout tool to support the rollout process of printers in large projects.
