  a very successful 7-year career in the British Army. I joined in 2012 where I was required to pass a 6-month combat infantryman's course, this consisted of many different physical, mental and theoretical tests. After the 6-month training course, I went onto joining The Mercian Regiment, where I started as a private soldier. In 2014, I successfully passed a 6-week promotional course in Otterburn which then promoted me to lance corporal. In 2017 I successfully passed a more advanced promotional course in Bovington where I achieved the rank of corporal. was an instructor in various different military subjects such as radio communications, physical training, weapons, and CBRN.
