Because what's more important than dick, am I right bruv? Filled with energetic pussy-popping dances, wash-your-mouth-out-with-soap trash-talking and just general big clit energy, this poetical theatre piece is sure to have you saying 'mans not hot'. It's toxic femininity at it's finest, innit. Girls will be girls, ay bruv.

Penthouse | Presented by The Blue Room Theatre & Lazy Yarns 30 October - 17 November The Blue Room Theatre Studio Penthouse parades you through the vulgar reality that surrounds high-end living; the numbness of wealth, the need for power, and an unquenchable thirst for entertainment. Griffin, the billionaire tycoon, is ruthless in his pursuit of stimulation; price is no issue, and when you’re the elite there are no rules either. Griffin’s protégé Cal is determined to score a slice of his wealth, and so seems the same with Finn, the striving musician Griffin takes under his wing. How far will they go for a taste of the 1%? A silver platter of high-octane greed, violence and masculinity. Once you’re at the top it’s a long way back to the bottom. "The dynamics of these men and the desperation, the rawness and the shame that was bought to the stage made for a powerful show" ★ ★ ★ ★ ½ - OutinPerth "this razor-sharp little monster still has what we need on the stage." - SeeSaw Magazine Directed and Produced by Mitchell Whelan // Devised and Performed by Isaac Diamond, Campbell Pollock and Haydon Wilson // Sound Design by Isaac Diamond // Set Design by Kaitlin Brindley // Lighting Design by Phoebe Pilcher // Set Construction by Étain Boscato // Stage Manger: Charley Newton // Associate Producer: Erin Lockyer // Publicist: James McMillan Inspired by The View from The Penthouse by Isaac Diamond, Sam Hayes and Campbell Pollock

Co-directed with Isaac Diamond, 'Blueprint' is a short devised work made collaboratively with a cast of year nine students from Hale Boys School. For many of the cast, Blueprint is their first time performing for the public, so play and exploration was paramount in this process and is the focus of the production. The cast are given very essentials of devising - the ability to play and explore and in turn, as students, the boys’ ideas and understanding have been expanded on what theatre can and could be. To begin their devising journey cast were each asked to tell a story using any method they wanted. From here common themes were drawn out and expanded upon to create short vignettes. The central theme of the work became 'water' and woven in between were references to popular video games, stories of friendship and loss, and the general silliness that came from this particular group.

LESS LIGHT Presented by Blue Room Theatre Summer Nights and Lazy Yarns State Theatre Centre, WA CONTEMPORARY, ELECTRIC, HEART-WARMING & IMMERSIVE What if the person you were talking to was you in another life? What if that person was God? In perfect darkness, story telling and live soundtrack transport audiences to life's pivotal moments and turning points. That twist in your gut, the relief from a hug. Recognisable feelings in unfamiliar territory. Imaginations run wild through the unknown, as we trip and stumble over things that feel oh so familiar. Composition: Jacob Diamond

Once We Lived Here By Dean Bryant and Mathew Frank Presented by Western Sky Theatre An authentically Australian musical about life, love, and family. Amy runs Emoh Ruo, her family’s sheep station in rural Australia. She's held onto the property through drought, bushfire, and falling wool prices, determined not to let it slip out of the family’s grasp. But when everyone gets together over a scorching long weekend, Amy has to face up to the myths and lies the place has been built upon. Is she really holding on or is she just stuck? Written by the critically acclaimed team of Dean Bryant and Mathew Frank, this funny and touching look at a passing way of life now has its West Australian premiere featuring a stellar cast of WAAPA Music Theatre graduates and a live band. Winner of the 2009 Green Room Award for Best New Musical. "A beautiful, poignant piece of home-grown music theatre. It may echo Chekhov and Sondheim but it's thrillingly pure Oz." Geoffrey Rush Director: Andrew Baker | Music Director: Josh Haines | Assistant Director: Mitchell Whelan | Production Manager: Erin Hutchinson | Designer: Rhiannon Walker | Featuring: Joshua Firman, Megan Kozak, Taryn Ryan, Ryan Dawson & Sharon Kiely
