  As part of a research collaboration with Queensland University of Technology, the office of the IGEM offered an annual research internship to one student. As part of the Research and Engagement team I conducted an investigative project into the current and ongoing use of Geospatial Information Systems for disaster management use within local governments. A final report was prepared and presented in a seminar to stakeholders and government agencies, with the end product intended to drive change within the field. Show less
