As City Manager I was the CEO for a 3,000 plus employee enterprise with an annual budget in excess of $450,000,000. I had approximately 12 direct reports; Department Heads, Assistant and Deputy City Managers, etc. I was promoted into this role after serving as Deputy City Manager for approximately 3 years. Prior to that I was an Assistant CM for 2 years and prior to that I was the CIty CIO and Department Head of the Technology and General Services.
