Risk Engineer

Oct 2021 - Present
Since graduating I have continued my work at Precision Autonomy as a Risk Engineer. I have continued to contribute as a developer, but have also taken on a role in managing the development processes. I now run a majority of the SAFe ceremonies, and am continuously automating reporting and feedback loops to enable a more efficient and stable development pipeline.

Undergraduate Risk Engineer
-
Oct 2019 - Oct 2021
In my final years at university I was offered a part-time position as an Undergraduate Risk Engineer at Precision Autonomy Pty Ltd, an InsureTech start-up based out of Austin, TX. In my time as an intern at Precision Autonomy my professional and technical skills were enabled to flourish, working on all different areas of the business, including but not limited to pricing, reporting, finance, and QA . Early into my internship I also begun teaching myself how to code, in order to be able to contribute to Precision Autonomy's insurance platform. I quickly took a keen interest to programming and was able to transition to full time development within a few months, though still assisting in other areas of the business as needed. Show less

VCE Mentor
-
Feb 2019 - Dec 2019
While studying I worked for one year at Bacchus Marsh Grammar as a student intern working with the VCE students to tutor them in preparation for their exams. From this experience I was able to develop the ability to distill complex concepts into smaller pieces easier to understand, and build them back into a broad understanding of how to solve these problems.
