This was a temporary role. At Aces Auto Mall my main responsibilities were communicating with customers about their queries with vehicles in the show rooms. I would have to use my scheduling skills to book in appointments with customers for their test drives and for their MOT’s. The role revolved heavily around my customer service skills both verbally and in writing. I also advertised new cars that came into the business and valued part exchanges that customers were trading in, so I am good at working with numbers and keeping information on spreadsheets

This was a 4-month temporary assignment. At Mitsubishi I was working as a sales representative. My day to day roles included dealing with customers enquires and organising visits for customers to come into the the showroom and test drive the vehicle, some days I would take upwards of 25 calls. To do this I would schedule on Mitsubishi’s system which I had to learn in a short period of time. I had to use my time management skills to effectively carry out this part of the role. Another part of my role was advertising new stock that came into the dealership, this would include writing descriptions for the vehicles which were being advertised. This was a face to face customer service role, so I have high levels of these skills. I was also negotiating with customers the right price for the vehicle that they were interested in and finalising deals which means I am good at dealing with tasks that are given to me.

I worked as an administrator for this company to provide administrative assistance to the CEO. This would involve me writing emails and letters to different people as well as talking over the phone to customers to discuss his design visits. I would schedule appointments for my manager to ensure his day was planned effectively. Part of this scheduling would not only include his personal business calendar but would also include the calendar for the wider business, this gave me skills to be able to manage multiple calendars at the same time. I used this opportunity to work on my organisational skills as well as my time management skills because I often had to balance a lot of tasks at the same time. This role was very essential in my development.

Auto Genius is a car brokerage company. We would find customers cars to lease for the best price. We would search the market and find the best deal possible for the customer. I worked at Auto Genius as a trainee as this was my first job role, and my duties included being in control of the social media for the Company and sourcing cars for customers and making proposals for the customer. I was very customer service facing for this role which taught me high levels of customer service skills early on in my career.
