Worked to implement a mixed H2/H infinity norm controller/detector on a three degrees of freedom Quanser Copter. Studied the effectiveness of various detectors such as the Luenberger Observer.Assisted with design of a new airplane based off of the Boeing 717 model with unconventional placement of the engines and wings in an attempt to maximize efficiency. Work in structures, controls, and computational fluid dynamics of the aircraft in order to find a feasible design solution. Use of CATIA to design model of airplane for testing purposes.
