Dr. Ferguson is a natural. His talent is the ability to teach difficult material with ease. He provided real-world experience and knowledge. He was able to keep the class interested and eager to learn his next lesson. GREAT PROFESSOR!

I have known Dr. Ferguson since 1987 as we both worked at the same adolescent outpatient treatment center in Mobile, Alabama. I also served as his Clinical Supervisor as he earned his license as a Professional Counselor in Georgia. I am currently employed as both a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice and as a School Counselor with Fulton County Schools. I am very familiar with what makes an effective educator and am confident Dr. Ferguson’s qualifications surpass those. He would undoubtedly be an asset to the students and staff of any institution. Dr. Ferguson has extensive experience as both a Professional Counselor and adjunct faculty member on the post-secondary level. The center we worked for provided a full range of services including an on-site school for the most challenging middle and high school students, full psychological testing, individual, family and group therapy and therapeutic camping trips. He was an effective counselor and educator to the troubled teens we worked with at this day treatment center. Serving as his LPC Supervisor, I worked very closely with Dr. Ferguson on several cases. He is an excellent group facilitator, has good professional instincts and can handle any crisis. He has a wide range of knowledge on many pertinent topics to both educators and counselors. His experience serves him well as he assists with preparing today’s counselors and educators at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Having known Dr. Ferguson for nearly twenty years, I can also attest to his communication, ethics, team-building and consultation skills. He is very knowledgeable, a team player and very personable. His life passion has been to teach full timel. I am confident this passion will serve to motivate his students to strive to reach their career goals as well.
