It's funny how life finds a way.I started at Barproducties to earn money because I was a student. After doing that for a while, I enjoyed it so much that money was not my primary motivator anymore; it was working with a bunch of people towards one goal. Physical (hard) work, being outside, under the sun and sometimes under the rain as well.Currently every owner of Barproducties found their role within the company. It's extremely important that we spend our time working on things we enjoy and improve on every level within that space.I found my place on the acquisition, account- and supplier management side of the company. I'm also actively looking for better ways to reach operational and strategic goals, thinking about innovative solutions and keeping up with sustainability efforts in the industry. After observing how the other guys within Barproducties produced and what is needed to reach the end goal, it was time to put knowledge into practice. I began with a small event the first time. The second time I had the honour of producing the final and last edition of Voltt Loves Summer (8k visitors) and the biggest I produced until now is Liquicity Festival with over 22.500 visitors.It's awesome. But, I couldn't do it without the best guys in the bizz that had my back and supported me in every step. Great teams are the key.As a producer I was overseeing all the operations on the festival grounds from A to Z, being responsible that everything went as planned, being in contact with festival producers, organisers, suppliers and more! I wanted to see more of the back-end at Barproducties, work more hours and earn more money.As an all-round runner I helped stocking the containers at the warehouse, building and breaking on the festival grounds, making sure every bar is operating efficiently and that every bar on the terrain has enough stock.

After working as a bartender a couple of times, the HR department asked me to work as a runner. The pay check was better and I lost a couple of kg's as well — which is quite nice.Being a runner I made sure the bar was supplied with enough beverages (stock) so the bartenders could do their work. Literally running from the cooling container to the bar and back.

I started studying in Amsterdam and wanted to work as a bartender. A friend of mine that already worked at Barproducties told me that he was bartending on festivals. I immediately sent an e-mail and have not regretted it ever since.
