Achievements: • As a project team member I assisted in merging 3 large pharmaceutical wholesale companies (Aflopa, Cefarm Slask and Dr. Pokorowski,) into one legal entity known as ACP Pharma S.A.. That project included full integration of the finance, logistics, sales and marketing processes. • Later, as a project steering group member I led the project to merge the Warsaw-based ORFE S.A. and the Lodz-based ACP Pharma S.A. into one legal entity. That project included full integration of the finance, logistics, sales and marketing processes. As a result ACP’s market share in Poland increased to 8%, total logistics costs dropped by 7% and profitability rose by 6%. • I restructured the warehousing network of ACP Pharma in Poland by introducing new warehouses in Gdansk, Bydgoszcz, Wroclaw and Szczecin, which increased picking efficiency by 27% and cut logistics costs by 4%. • I introduced a new cost control programme, based on cost-centre ownership, which resulted in a significant operating cost decrease from 6% of total budget in 2004 to 4.9% in 2006. • I managed the integration of the telecommunications systems in all ACP group companies, . cutting total telecommunication costs by 15% . • I implemented a motivational programme, as well as a new remuneration system for the employees of the group.
