I studied and explored tin and tungsten deposits in the Krusne hory and Slavkovsky les in the Bohemian massif, and the granites associated with them. I organized a laboratory for experimental studies of sulphide and silicate systems where I investigated solubility of tin, tungsten and molybdenum in silicate melts and some phase equilibria in sulphide-oxide systems.
