I perform on many levels. Leader - I represent the entire QA team at higher company meetings. My responsibility is to come up with innovations and new ideas at the company level and also the QA team level. I also track what each QA team member works on so I can sometimes join on pair testing to help if necessary or watch how they work. I also prepare topics for weekly QA Talks so we can discuss and grow as a community.Mentor & Coach - I am involved in the professional development of QA members. I help them to set individual and team goals, where they are the pilots and I am their air traffic navigator. I hope that inspires and motivates them to perform better. Manager - I am responsible for QAs' good performance. I lead 1to1 meetings to collect feedback and check their happiness. Of course, I need to take care of the salaries and hiring new members when it's necessary.QA Engineer - To do the previous levels well, I need to understand the responsibilities and struggles of QA members. So I do have my own projects and I take care of the quality there. Backend, frontend, API, Android/iOS apps, and more.

Same responsibilities as before, but with many other activities.As a mentor and coach of juniors, I was helping them to professionally grow in different ways. I also participated in building a strong QA community by sharing my knowledge and new ideas. Part of that was also setting a new wide company QA strategies and thinking about global improvements. I interviewed candidates for QA Engineers on regular basis. I was named as 'unofficial' QA Lead within the product team, as deputy of Scrum Master, and also chosen as an ambassador of the company.

I took care of the quality of every single part of the development cycle. Starting with the refinement of feature stories, estimating them, and checking dependencies. Continuing with strategic planning - analysis and creation of test cases, preparation of data and test environment. Then manual testing of the feature, reporting, and raising bugs. The feature has been presented to stakeholders on a live demo. After that, I covered features with automated tests. Execution and maintenance were on daily basis.
