  Physicians reliably make good money, but they go into hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt and years of study to get there. In all their years of training, they don't get a single hour of financial education. We're changing that. I'm honored to be heading up the design and development of a product that will help new physicians and medical students make a plan to get out of debt and become financially independent so they can focus on their craft and take care of the rest of us.   I split my time as an intern, then a fellow with University Impact sourcing deals, determining whether the impact a given company makes matches both University Impact's and the UN's Sustainable Development Goals' priorities, and performing research and consulting projects for companies and organizations, both prior to and after investments. In Feb. 2018, my research was read on the Utah Senate and House of Representatives floor in the form of a bill to legalize industrial hemp, which we provided to help the local economy switch away from dependence on a non-sustainable industry (coal) and towards a more sustainable and eco-friendly one. The bill passed. A similar bill is now being discussed at the national level. I also created an in-house style guide and headed recruiting efforts for the summer of 2018. Show less

  I worked under Tim Sloan and Ryan Jespersen to design and execute a worldwide assessment of the effectiveness of the Self-Reliance Initiative.
