Ability to plan and organize orientation and in-service training for department staff members, participates in guidance and educational programs • Assures documentation meets current standards and policies • Knowledge of regulations and standards as relating to JCACHO, CMS, AHCA, and Department of Health. • Oversee the functions of the Infection Control Department • Manages the Hospital Dashboard metrics • Responsible for Patient Satisfaction indicators and improvement of scores • Oversees the Patient Relations department including the complaint and grievance process and tracking and trending and follow up of complaints. Ensures timely follow up of complaints and grievances and a pro-active approach to complaint resolution, service recovery and remediation of the underlying issue. • Chairs the Grievance Committee; reports to executive board regarding progress towards goals.
