This job required the normal day to day barista tasks of making quality beverages in a timely manner in addition to supervisor duties. I managed shift schedules and assigned breaks. It was my responsibility to balance the safe and create logs for the cash revenue for the day. I held the keys to the store and both closed and opened the cafe. Coaching and encouraging the partners in the store was my favorite part because having that open communication between partners made the day to day very pleasant and helped the shifts go smoothly. I also had the opportunity to be apart of the coffee master program where I studied coffee to better serve the customers and had a more extensive knowledge of the product I was responsible for selling. This created a love for coffee and a passion for learning. Show less
