Since setting up independently I've experienced a wide variety of clients who come to me looking for guidance and training on how best to manage their Social Media and online presence. My speciality is LinkedIn training for B2B companies and I deliver the training one-to-one, to mixed networking groups as well as to large corporate teams. I have a fantastic track record in establishing viable Facebook and Twitter presences for my clients and can show you how to really measure the return on investment for your time and effort. I always approach training in a very hands-on way as the best way to learn is often by doing! I offer one-to-one services with plenty of hand-holding if needs be, or more extensive training on how to measure and optimise Social Media for those more confident with their efforts.

As well as independent training and freelance management work, I also work and operate out of Creo Interactive. Managing their Social Media internally is a recent project for me and adds another element to the fantastic Creo digital and web services. As a full service agency we can provide consistent services across web development, web design, social and PPC, all delivered to your bespoke brief. At Creo we pride ourselves on being 'friendly humans' who also do web! We avoid jargon and explain all of our work as fully as we can in a human and practical way. As well as training, management and graphic services for Social Media, we're also running Social Media mornings every month in the gorgeous Creo offices - The Old Church, Coffee and Welshcakes provided! At Leopard Digital we worked with many B2B companies delivering innovative Lead generation services through Social Media. Mostly focused on LinkedIn, I delivered high-quality training days in Caerphilly, Cardiff and London as well as with any new members of our own team. I also took the lead on the company's own Social Media Strategy allowing us to establish an audience from scratch as we were a brand-new start-up. I set-up on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and also delivering training to several members of staff for use of their own personal work-focused Twitter accounts.

My responsibilities centred around a new initiative which brings ‘special interest’ volunteer work out to university groups and faculties to provide students with alternative travel options to the traditional language exchanges and study abroad programs. I directly targeted specific student groups, faculties and research teams in universities and so the ability to network is essential. Being highly motivated was key as I worked from home reporting to the London office. I also created online marketing resources such as mail shots and webinars to supplement my presentations. As the regional directors all work independently this work was highly challenging and target-driven. Extensive research of our 5 host countries was required as well as technical knowledge of the educational value of the work that is carried out by volunteers on each project in order to best target to prospective participants. I would then co-ordinate each of our special interest groups who sign-up ensuring they are getting the support they need from their university leaders and from our head office.

At Glam my responsibilities included Social Media. bookings, marketing and online promotions, office admin, basic accounts, personal assistant duties for the managers of the club as well as HR tasks and payroll. We targeted students online using the mediums that they interact with most, namely Facebook, Twitter and email campaigns. In one year website traffic increased 120% with users spending more time per visit engaged with our content. My database emailed out to over 21,000 people and maintained a high open rate and engagement level, I used reports from these to effectively tailor consequent campaigns. I worked closely with the Promotions Manager to use our online marketing campaigns in a timely fashion, releasing events when our audience is at their most receptive and interactive. Our social media presence was my personal pride and joy being one of the biggest in the city. I also oversaw a small team of our promotion staff advising them on physical promotion, providing their material and collaborating to come up with new event ideas to pitch to managers and stakeholders.
