Rachel Haak (she/her)

Miranda is one of those rare diamonds who understand learning design so deeply that she can design anything you can put in front of her, while also being an innovator in the sector. Miranda has an exceptional talent for getting to the heart of what's important in a learning experience and brings learning to life through engaging and thoughtful design. On top of this, Miranda rolls with the punches and changes that come with working at pace, she tackles uncertainty with grace and offered valuable insights into how to improve processes and functions while being at all times positive and supportive. Miranda was a real leader in the design project and I cannot recommend her more highly! Thank you Miranda!

Kind and skilled are the two words that come to mind when I think of Miranda. I had the privilege of being her direct manager at Aula, where Miranda worked with subject matter experts to convert doctorate level curricula into digitally delivered, interactive learning experiences. Miranda excelled in this position not just because of her excellent instructional design skills, but also because of her superb communication skills. Miranda was able to tackle some of our most challenging designs and received high praise from our partner educators due to the artful way she balanced student needs, applied pedagogies, and personal teaching styles of the educators. I genuinely believe any instructional design team would greatly benefit from Miranda’s presence.
