Initially started teaching at MacEwan University in May 2014 as a Sessional Instructor for one course (Psych 385 - Applications of Learning). Over the years, I advocated and worked with the University to develop a course sequence dedicated to teaching Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). The new program was launched in Fall 2016 called the Behavioural Interventions Certificate of Achievement (BICA). BICA is the first university-based course sequence in Applied Behaviour Analysis in the province of Alberta and is also a Verified Course Sequence (VCS) at the undergraduate level by the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI). Private agency specializing in the psychological services (specifically Applied Behaviour Analysis) for children, adolescents and adults who present with behavioural, developmental or cognitive disorders that impact on interpersonal, social or community adjustment. Provision of Home-Based ABA/IBI programs and School-Based ABA supported inclusion programs for child and adolescents with ASD in Toronto, Hamilton, Brantford and surrounding areas. Utilizing an Applied Behaviour Analytic approach, various methods of intervention (e.g. discrete trial, incidental learning, precision teaching, pivotal skills training, social skills training, and/or problem behaviour management) were incorporated into the programming for children with autism within their home setting (intensive EIBI/IBI, parent training and/or consultative), centre setting (Children's College/Private School: where I was the Coordinator/Principal for approx 9 years) and school setting (school consultations as requested and/or as needed after transition from intensive intervention).
