• Planned and controlled the workload of my team of 11 to ensure the timely resolution of technical/general queries (of up to 100 queries a day during the peak period). • Monitored disputes and complaints from both internal and external customers on a monthly basis and ensured that processes are maintained and that progress has been made on each dispute. • Build and maintained relationships with up to 50 regional contacts at all levels to resolve technical queries and raise the profile of disputed debt. • Approved all write offs with a value of up to £200 of up to 300 during peak period. • Approved all Refunds with a value of up to £100. Above this value I approved and was passed to the next tier of approval. • Produced Month End reports for the Business Finance partners and analysed the debt position using Oracle and Excel to show the results visually and thus prioritise the debts to be chased. • Deputised for my Manager in her absence. • Adopted and created new processes for a new computer system. • Trained all staff in use of the new computer system. • Trained and developed team members on day to day tasks and also new starters, from induction to full competency. • Liaised with auditors, identified weaknesses and made necessary process changes. • Recruited new team members by analysing CVs and applications through to interviewing them. • Set objectives and completed team member appraisals on a quarterly basis. • Maintained KPIs/SLAs despite a reduction in staff number. • Managed team´s motivation during period of change.
