Commercially, it's about the right level of resource, in the right business areas, at the right times. Ensuring we track and pre-empt activity accurately, making the appropriate hiring decisions to continuously deliver market leading ROI wherever we go! I'm responsible for all aspects of the People agenda and strategy (HR) across both Blue Sky and our sister company Brightwave which sees culture at the centre of the entire employee life cycle. Blue Sky's cultural guardian, if you will. At Blue Sky, our culture is absolutely key to our success and my priority is to grow our team, ensuring that we don't dilute all of the amazingness (yes, that's a technical term) we've spent years building and differentiates us from most other businesses. I manage our entire "back of house" operation which encompasses; Design, Marketing, Business Development, Project Management, Knowledge Management and Client Services. In addition, I have HR responsibility which includes all aspects of recruitment for our internal team as well as our associate network. With attrition at less than 5%, it's fair to say, we've nailed the employee engagement piece! I love the strategic and complex nature of the role particularly. Massively commercial but balanced with doing right by our people. Not many people get the opportunity to contribute so broadly and autonomously in a business they absolutely love and I know that I'm extremely fortunate.

Sourcing, screening, on boarding and contracting amazing associate deliverers to bring our content to life, or scouring every corner of the UK to find the perfect additions to the Blue Sky melting pot, I’m focused on growing our team organically, retaining all the rare qualities and quirks that make this truly, an amazing place to work. Working autonomously whilst collaboratively to truly deliver life changing experiences, everywhere we go. I manage a function which covers everything from project management, audio visual production, client support and logistics, quality assurance as well as our internal design team. It’s a cliché but there really is never a dull moment and no 2 days are ever the same. It’s about providing a level of service which enables our business to sell with complete confidence that we will deliver, across the piece….and we do! I’ve never worked as hard, felt so appreciated, laughed so loudly or developed as willingly as I have here.
