A new era started with some new members in our people operations team. Gaining more experience every day on people care, tacking different situations and supporting individuals in their work and life. Also, continuing to shape our people practices, processes & structures. Some things I am already proud of:1) Alfame started to apply OKR model in setting and following company-wide strategic goals. We did a great job in our team in designing our own tasks to advance these objectives and key results. I am now managing a strategic OKR project regarding people care roles and immediate leading practices at Alfame. This shapes and clarifies organisational structures and specific roles, and will support our employees, superiors and business in the future.2) The Hacker of the Year, a new rewarding concept, is a success. This was planned and implemented quickly, and I did all I could to make it special. And it is! Smiles, tears of happiness, lots of love and good spirit, and a new tradition for years to come.3) I have received great feedback on how I have helped some of our employees flourish by coaching them in interpersonal communication skills. Coaching brings more self-confidence for individual developers and directly affects the project work and the customer experience.

      • Aug 2019 - Feb 2022

As a first professional with my competence in the company, I started as a generalist and brand hacker, helping people and company succeed and grow. Mostly, I focused on employee experience design, culture development, employer brand and workplace communication. I work on strategic and operational levels, both independently and together with my colleagues and executives, to create and improve different practices, processes and structures, and carry out hands-on tasks in an ever-changing environment of a growth company. A few examples of the impact of my work:1) Alfame achieved number one ranking in Great Place to Work survey in 2020 in Finland. I renewed the documentation for Culture Audit, which was a crucial element in the evaluation and strongly affected on winning. I have also improved internal communication regarding the survey and utilisation of research results.2) We have built an employer branding strategy and I have streamlined communication and recruitment marketing accordingly. In the war for talent, we have been able to recruit more and more IT professionals and grow organically.3) I am leading the design and development of the onboarding process. As a result, we now have a well-functioning process that serves both the newcomers and the company. The newcomers have given excellent feedback about onboarding.4) I took initiative to create an up-to-date equality plan and drove employee engagement in the matter. This boosted compliance and improved people’s awareness on diversity topics and salary structure. It also serves as a tool in conversations.5) In HR team, we started to apply the Agile ways of working. The framework has given us focus and a clearer vision on how to tackle the workload.- People Operations- Strategic planning & Implementation- Development Projects- Onboarding & Exit- Employer Branding- Recruitment- Internal Communications- Coaching & Training

I supported the strategic goals of WWF Finland’s corporate relations and Green Office programme with communication and marketing. I gave advice on partnerships’ communication planning and implementation, guarded WWF’s famous panda brand and made our themes visible in various channels. I participated in strategic work and development processes. In addition, I guided and supported the intern of our team.I worked in a project in which we fundamentally renewed WWF Green Office certificate and the Green Office brand. I verbalized the criteria and the content of various new tools, materials and websites, worked with AD to align the visuals, and planned and implemented customer communications about the change together with the team. I also took part in building and implementing new strategy for in-bound marketing. When I started as a communication specialist in corporate relations team, the role was new. I received thanks from my colleagues and my superior for developing working methods, processes and communication vehicles to better serve the needs.I also developed the concept of critical friendship approach to support internal communication and organizational culture of WWF Finland. I led the process and organised workshops to the whole work community to create common understanding and commitment to the approach. My colleagues praised me for well-planned workshops and the importance of this internal development work. - Strategic work- Brand building- Communication planning- Stakeholder communication- Marketing communication- Internal communication- Change management- Content creation- Writing & editing- Websites- Social media

I planned and implemented strategic communication measures linked to Green Office environmental management programme, to environmental education, and to various conservation themes (especially Baltic Sea). As a subeditor for WWF’s membership magazine, I created a new magazine concept and coordinated editorial work and production process.I worked together with various team members in local and global WWF network, co-operated with visualists, journalists, production partners and other organisations, and served our Green Office customers. My work promoted the success of e.g. WWF’s Seafood guide and Green Office programme and supported protecting endangered species. The results of the reader survey of the magazine improved a lot, and the Green Office website received excellent feedback from new customers.- Strategic work- Project management- Planning communication- Stakeholder communication- Press communication- Brand management - Content creation- Writing & editing- Websites- Social media- Newsletters- Magazine & publications- Events
