I gained the offer of a student internship with the Material Research Institute Department in AIT in summer 2021, with the report to Dr. Declan Devine, Dr. Yuanyuan Chen and Dr. Zhi Cao. The training programme includes the ability to assay the properties of different polymer materials by setting a series of experiments with instruments, the aim is to investigate the samples supplied from agriculture polymer materials. The analysis was successfully achieved, such as the exposure of materials to solutions, tensile testing, flexural properties and Izod impact testing, etc. Also Learning and training to access sophisticated instruments like DSC and DMA to deep figure out the properties of the material which worked with Dr. Zhi Cao.
