I was fortunate to work with this stellar manager. Ming represents everything you want in senior management. With vision to the future with understanding of the present, he brought a number of great programs to the court. I served on a subcommittee for performance management. He was encouraging, challenging, and thoughtful and through our work, we were able to establish a set of smart and stretch goals to improve employees recognition of their areas of expertise and areas needing improvement. I appreciated my time on that subcommittee and everything I learned from him. I was also able to serve on the training committee with him. I was absolutely astonished at his ability to encourage thoughtful work and attainable goals for the committee. He was great at managing our time, our subject matter, and our enthusiasm for the work given to us. Again, I could not have asked for a better manager. If you are fortunate enough to work in the same place as Ming, consider yourself lucky. He is fantastic.

If I had to pick just one thing Ming is good at, it’s pulling a team together! During the 7 years I worked with Ming at the US Bankruptcy Court, he implemented new processes that improved communication across our team, increased productivity on our projects and daily tasks, and promoted education across the team. The thing that made him really stand out, though, was that he did all of that while keeping the team motivated! Whether we were integrating new skills and accomplishments to enhance our personal career goals, eating pizza together, or meeting up for fun team outings, he always tried to make sure our work was both enjoyable and fulfilling. He really brought a lot of value to our court, and any organization would be fortunate to have him on their leadership team!
