- Responsible for checking of weekly timesheets - Ensuring documents are correct regarding leave, tax, pension and provident fund, garnishees, medical aid and employment contracts. - Check and send Master File changes to the Head Office. - Print weekly VIP reports and ensure that the Wage Journals are sent out to finance. - Dealing with all queries including MIBFA and UIF. - Producing Certificates of Service and UI-19 forms for terminated staff. - Assisting the family of deceased staff with regards to the necessary documentation and MIBFA and UIF requirements. - Collecting and record keeping of wages and salary staff leave. - Maintaining Personnel Files for permanent and LDC staff. - Printing and issuing out payslips. - Run and consolidate VIP month end. - Ensure the company meet the statuary requirements with regards to the receiver and the Labour Law. - Ensure the Main Agreement for the Metal Industry is adhered to at all times. - Accurate record keeping and recons of PAYE, garnishees, medical aid, pension and provident funds and unions. - Assist with training schedules. - Compile Health and Safety schedules. - Accurate pay-out of health and safety bonuses. - Monthly recons on all payments to the finance department to pay, including all above mentioned unions, pension funds, provident funds, PAYE and medical aid. Year-end and Quarter-end Duties: - Accurate leave and bonus Pay-out. - Submit quarter-end PAYE recon files (IRP5). - Reconcile shifts. - Accurate increase uploads - Issuing of IRP5’s - Tax reconciliation,Tax submission,Accounting Duties: - Local and foreign entities (Namibia & Botswana). - Running monthly management accounts. - Prepare rates per ton and other monthly reports: i.e. overheads: etc. - Prepare JV monthly journals, capture and post them. - Processing general journals for all branches. - Assists with recon of balance sheet accounts and cashbook recon. - Analysis of income accounts. - Assist with Budget preparation.
