  • Prepare and planned fitness activities and class lessons for children Pre-Kindergarten to 8th grade. • Taught, managed, and accommodated class sizes from 12 to 40 students.• Lead instruction for recreation and team sports, weight training, body pump, Zumba, nutrition, speed and agility, circuit training, high intensity interval workouts and lifetime fitness activities. • Firmly believe in teaching youth to have an appreciation for creating lifelong health and fitness habits. • Fosterd positive relationships and rapport with colleagues, students and families with clear and consistent communication. Able to quickly and effectively communicate with students and parents regarding student’s performance or performance barriers. • Created and developed Tarrier Fitness. Fitness testing that was originally based off of the presidential fitness challenge. We then modified and revised it to fit our belief in the importance of more frequent tracking and celebrating of individual progress and growth. We recognized the need to eliminate gender and age from our fitness standards and basing goals and improvement solely on the individual. • Hosted an after-school fitness class for faculty and staff.
