Mindy was one of the finest teammates I ever had the pleasure to work with. There was never a moment that I felt she wouldn't support me if I needed help. Her professional yet fun and outgoing personality made my workdays go by with a little bigger smile. She never brought negativity or outside issues into the workplace and helped develop several more efficient policies that we now use on a daily basis. She is an asset to any team she is on and a phenomenal human being on top of that.

Working as a Business Consultant for Jinling Holdings Ltd.,, I came into close contact with Mindy Sheibler while she worked at Jinling Hotel in Nanjing, China as a Business Consultant. Mindy did an outstanding job working with guests; all ages, genders and nationalities. She is a hard-worker, dedicated and results-oriented. She is flexible, adaptable and always has a smile on her face! I highly recommend Mindy as an excellent candidate for any position she is seeking and to any employer looking at her; she would be an asset to have in your organization.

My time at Purdue University has allowed me the opportunity to develop from a shy, unsure freshman to an outgoing and confident 3rd year senior with a balance between being a leader and a follower. Yes, I did say 3rd year senior... my passion for life has led me to add on more majors, which provided me with a wider view of my main passion: the hospitality industry. With my three jobs and an average of 18 credit hours, I have developed an ability for time management and prioritizing.… Show more My time at Purdue University has allowed me the opportunity to develop from a shy, unsure freshman to an outgoing and confident 3rd year senior with a balance between being a leader and a follower. With my three jobs and an average of 18 credit hours, I have developed an ability for time management and prioritizing. While being abroad has taught me what a campus cannot; it has given me an appreciation for diversity and open-mindedness, which I now can apply to all aspects of my life. Looking back through my six years, I acknowledge that Purdue gave me many opportunities, and I can happily confirm that took on every one I could possibly fit. With a successful completion of my first internship and continuing communication, I was rehired to help with a World Conference Event held in McCormick Place. My main involvement was keeping up with, and setting details for entertainment, decorations, and Day of Event Scheduling. Before and during the event, I was on-site contact for the entertainment, along with being a lead in the area that featured as a Club. Along with this, I headed another Dance Party held in the… Show more With a successful completion of my first internship and continuing communication, I was rehired to help with a World Conference Event held in McCormick Place. Still looking to find my passion in the Industry, I jumped right into the Destination Management Company that could provide me with the most hands-on experience I had yet seen. During the summer I created everything from event proposals to marketing videos and promotional campaigns. Perhaps the most involvement I had was being the lead on a three night dance party. This allowed me to lead walk-throughs with the client, make on-site decisions, and follow the success of the event… Show more Still looking to find my passion in the Industry, I jumped right into the Destination Management Company that could provide me with the most hands-on experience I had yet seen. Initially applying to say, "I applied to study in China," I was surprised to find that an extensive interview process and 9 months later I was really living and working in China. As a Concierge in a 5-star hotel, I demonstrated exceptional service, familiarized guests with surrounding areas, and promoted new ideas to the hotel regarding displays, organization, and training. The real experience was outside of the hotel in the interactions with the Chinese people.… Show more Initially applying to say, "I applied to study in China," I was surprised to find that an extensive interview process and 9 months later I was really living and working in China. The real experience was outside of the hotel in the interactions with the Chinese people. It was there that I learned the frailty and strength of stereotypes, the passion and differences of people throughout the world, and developed the ability to hold judgments and decisions until I had a better understanding. I was taught flexibility, developed the ability to "think on my feet," and learned the importance of diplomacy in strained situations.
