These reports produced recommendations for the government to combat sectarian violence; • Collected oral testimonies on violations of minorities’ rights and freedom of religion to trace trends of attacks and violations in several villages and cities that witnessed sectarian violence;• Drafted chapters on sectarian violence and minorities’ rights, for a UN report on human rights in Egypt;• Coordinated efforts between victims of violations, lawyers and state institutes to provide victims with aid;• Built the capacity of minority rights' activists in legal mechanisms for lobbying;• Published monthly news articles in local newspapers on minorities’ rights and freedom of religion to raise awareness about these topics;• Responded to the crisis of the abduction of the Coptic workers in Libya and coordinated the efforts in reporting and documenting the cases between the victims' families, Egyptian authorities and the UN mission in Libya. In addition, launched an advocacy campaign to provide them with aid, through the Egyptian government, which lead the government to recognize the victims and provide restitution to their families;• Responded to the mass sectarian violence against Christians that swept several governorates following the dispersal of pro-Morsi sit-in in Rabaa in 2013, collecting testimonies, documenting the events in different governorates to report the violations.
