In my role with JewishCare, I am responsible for the management and successful delivery of the Youth Wellbeing program, including managing a team of social work staff together with 40+ volunteer mentors. Youth Wellbeing Services offers wrap around support for young people and their families. This includes access to Case Management, two Mentoring programs, Parent Workshops and Seminars, Respectful Relationships workshops for high school students, Adolescent workshops, and Mental Health support groups. In this role I founded the Jewish Youth Interagency, a forum for professionals working with young people to share, connect and engage. I am also chair of JewishCare's Operational Leadership Group, an instrumental group that supports streamlined communication up (to Executive Management) and and down (to frontline staff). Show less

Achievements include: - Successfully forming positive partnerships between the community sector organisations and TAFE - Providing employees in the disability sector with pathways to successfully complete Certificate 3 & 4 qualifications via workplace learning. Teacher 2001/2002 I was responsible for teaching a range of subjects to students completing the ‘Diploma of Community Welfare’, and/or the ‘Certificate 4 Disability Work’ courses. Subjects included Agency Practice (Legislative, Ethical and Industrial Issues in the Community Sector, Administration and Financial Management, and Record Keeping Systems), and Management Issues (Organisational Culture, Policy and Submission Writing).
