Collaborating with Milos to build an Express-based ‘Album Review’ web app as part of GA’s Software Engineering Immersive course was a hugely rewarding and enjoyable experience. As well as being an excellent communicator, he is also a patient, supportive and resilient team mate and a natural motivator, especially when it comes to working through and overcoming challenges as a pair. I was particularly impressed by Milos’ approach to understanding and implementing ‘Multer’ middleware: he demonstrated persistence, commitment and agility in order to quickly grasp and utilise unfamiliar technology in a short timeframe. He showed these attributes throughout the project and they will certainly serve him well wherever he goes in his software development career. I can’t recommend working with Milos enough and am excited to follow his coding journey as it unfolds!

I had the pleasure to work with Milos on our capstone project for the Software Engineering Immersive course at General Assembly where he operated as team leader. Not only is Milos an incredibly adaptable and talented programmer, his soft skills in leadership and coordination ensured that our project ran very smoothly, and he was always available to support when required. Milos is determined and has always been one of the first to pick up new concepts and respond to lab challenges with creative solutions. Coached clients to help them achieve their fitness and health goals by not only acting as an instructor but helping them to realise why and how they should incorporate various techniques and exercises. Throughout my sessions I explained the fascinating principles of Biomechanics, Anatomy and Physiology to ensure clients developed a comprehensive understanding of their own bodies and how to use them effectively. This really increased their motivation to improve their health and performance, upon contemplation of how complex and beautiful the systems of the human body are. Upon assessing clients' strengths, weaknesses and goals, I constructed personalised training programmes which were updated in response to progress that I would closely track. The safety of my clients was of paramount importance to me, so I consistently checked the environment and equipment being used for sessions, as well as reiterating the importance of correct technique and a smart approach to training in order to avoid preventable injuries. My desire to constantly give my clients relevant information and help them maintain a positive mindset pushed me to frequently build upon my knowledge of exercise and the human body by researching scientific articles and reading books on these fields. I felt that the more I developed my own skills and knowledge, the more I could offer to those that work with me, and that is something I firmly believe to this day. Show less
