Over several years working with Milly as a member of the Boston Society of Architects Advancement Committee, I was impressed with MIlly's commitment to the field of architecture, and its broader capacity to improve the built environment for all of Greater Boston's communities. Milly is a consummate collaborator, and a reliable and effective contributor to any team. In her role on the Advancement Committee, Milly was willing to participate in the difficult work of engaging her network for philanthropic work, attending prospect visits, and advising on a host of raised revenue activities and events. She is a strategic thinker, who not only adds a tremendous amount of value to any initiative she is involved in, but is also a lot of fun to work with.

Milly has a depth of planning and design insights that combined with her intelligence and empathy enable her to amalgamate all of the varied factors related to projects, problems, and people. We all benefited from her experience in managing design, operational or financial constraints. Her open-minded, inclusive, thoughtful approach fosters great teamwork. She leads teams apparently effortlessly, cares about her team members and they know it. Milly’s love of literature and understanding in communications is evident in her stellar writing skills, both creating and editing. Clients appreciate her perceptive inquiry that looks at their challenges with respect to their culture, their operations and what their new future could be. Her optimism and positive attitude are complemented by her great sense of humor.

Supported the development of a new local office for a national firm in healthcare practice that won a major project with MGH/Brigham at McLean Hospital for a new pediatric campus. Included on a think-tank, community effort addressing the impact of the COVID -19 for local facilities. Owners, engineers, and architects worked together to quickly flush out strategies for responding to the crisis with monthly meetings. Owners of 32 New England Hospitals benefited from this industry-wide effort.
