    • Senior Nursery Practitioner
      • Aug 2011 - Dec 2013

As a senior Nursery Nurse I was responsible for my own staff team within a child care setting. my job role was to monitor child development for children between the ages of 6 weeks - 1 year and make referrals where necessary. I would welcome parents into the setting and closely monitor the bonds between the staff and their child to make sure that their key person would be able to get the best from them when assessing their development. I would also do viewings of the room to explain the benefits of using our setting for the best out come for their children.

    • Nursery Practitioner
      • Sep 2009 - May 2011

At the Old Fire Station I did most of my training. Here I learnt that the most beneficial way to develop children's learning is through free choice and play. I spent a lot of my time learning how this had an impact on behaviours within a different environment away from home. I soon developed my own key group of children aged 2-3 years.
