  As a Methanol Plant Manager I managed a team of 58 multinational professionals to get maximum output from plants operations. I managed the Methanol & Utility Complex to provide continued and uninterrupted supply of Methanol to QAFAC customers. I am solely responsible for managing a Methanol & Utility complex which contains gas based 3000 TPD Methanol plant with ICI process, 500 TPD CO2 recovery plant, Utility Boilers (2 no. 140 T/Hr. capacity, 42 bar), 3 DM trains of 180 T/Hr., Nitrogen plant, Sea Water cooling system (once thru’ 24,000 m3/hr.), Jetty, Offsite including waste water treatment system, Fire Water system and Tank farm. I successfully designed internal controls/quality audit checks for achieving higher operational efficiency. I was responsible for the operational planning, system evaluation & plant modifications (PMR) for organizing and assessing contractors’ & consultants’ performance. I controlled the Natural gas and CO2 intake to the complex from QP and QAFCO respectively while implemented strategies to achieve continuous improvement in overall plant performance within the organization. I successfully managed the EMP implementation and assisted in RBI, RCM, ERM Risk management, SAP system and BCM activities. I developed guidelines for the sequencing of manufacturing activities in plant operations and maintained an accident-free operation while achieved plant safety objectives. Show less
