  I am currently working as Professor in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. I received Ph.D. degree from M. S. University of Baroda, Vadodara, Gujrat in July 2014. I believe that my academic training and my 25 years of teaching experience on different posts as Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor prepare me to be an effective researcher and instructor in Electronics and Telecommunication, Electronics Engineering and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science departments. I worked in different departments and handled different administrative and academic positions during my work experience in K. J. Somaiya Institute of Engineering and Information Technology (KJSIEIT). Currently I am working as Head of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science department in KJSIEIT. I also worked as In-charge Principal from Nov. 1, 2013, to April 18, 2014. I published 25 papers in International reputed journals and 11 papers in IEEE, Springer and other reputed conferences proceedings. I am currently working on two research projects in AI-DS domain and applied for a major research project grant under SERB-SRG Scheme of Govt. of India. My doctoral dissertation was conducted under the direction of Prof. S. K. Shah and looks at the use of a relatively new strategies based on soft computing for real time speech processing in multimedia applications. Here I am taken speech recognition as multimedia application. Five candidates completed PhD under my guidance as co guide for interdisciplinary topics in Pacific University Udaipur and Sri Satya Sai University of Technology and Medical Sciences, Sehore (MP). I feel confident and qualified to take on the challenges that teaching and administration offers. I am eager to demonstrate my talent and teaching skills within college district that is committed to high standards in education of student. Show less
