Update Statewide Election Management System (SEMS), process election returns, and receive and process candidate qualifying papers; enter federal, statewide, state district, county district, judicial and legislative candidates in SEMS; generate sample ballot. Generate reports through SEMS, such as the number of registered voters in the state and the number of absentee ballot requested prior to an election. Compile data for meetings of the State Board of Election Commissioners. Prepare commissions for newly elected officials following each election. Prepare election results and certifications. Work with Tech Support to update the Elections Division website with updated dates, documents and other necessary information. Answer and respond to inquiries through the Elections Hotline. Respond to public records requests, in conjunction with the Director of Communications, regarding information from SEMS, candidate contact information, and other election related information.
