  I am responsible for all communications at the Citizen Lab, an interdisciplinary research group at the University of Toronto's Munk School. With research frequently making New York Times front pages, we focus on the cross-section of technology and human rights. Working with computer scientists, legal specialists, and area experts, duties include: devising communications policies in conjunction with senior management; creating all external outreach (social media, newsletters, press releases); pitching, liaising, and coordinating with journalists; media training; copy editing all written material; and creating strategies for the roll-out of research and reports.
