Ecommerce / Marketing: In 2017 I led the redesign of our e-commerce website, californiababy.com, in preparation for our decision to exit big box stores and be a direct-to-consumer company. I currently manage our e-commerce website and lead our optimization efforts, promotional calendar, and more. Since our redesign in 2017, our website has had huge YOY growth and a conversion rate that is 2-3x as high as the beauty/cosmetic industry average. To support our new direct-to-consumer strategy, I brainstormed the ins and outs of our subscription and loyalty program and lead the creation with our web developers. https://www.californiababy.com/subscribe To help increase international sales, I negotiated down our shipping rates with FedEx, DHL, and other logistic partners which helped double international sales due to faster transit times and lower shipping costs for the customer. To ensure our e-commerce orders are shipped more quickly - I implemented changes to our warehouse. We modified the assembly line flow for packing orders, rearranged our warehouse layout and introduced new boxes. All these changes sped up our shipping speed from 2-3 minutes per box to 30-40 seconds per box. Other tactics to grow e-commerce sales includes: developing promotions and sales, launching regular email campaigns, partnering with brand ambassadors, and starting online ads to drive traffic to our website. Instead of hiring a photographer, occasionally I will pick up the camera and do it myself. I film with several cameras including a drone and Canon EOS 7D. This saves us thousands of dollars by doing it myself instead of hiring a photographer and editor -examples of my work: https://www.instagram.com/p/Bj5PzXGhMf2/?taken-by=californiababy https://www.instagram.com/p/BjyHBDrBomp/?taken-by=californiababy https://www.instagram.com/p/BncO-COBZ5-/?taken-by=californiababy Partnered with numerous luxury hotels that purchase our hero products for guests with children

I worked as a Bartender for many events ranging from weddings, to movie premiers, to private parties. I also stepped in as a server when needed. The job of a bartender can be high-stress and fast-paced so communicating effectively and concisely with my team was vital to us functioning properly. Also, when working as a bartender I further realized the importance of adapting my communication style due to working with and serving a variety of different people. My duties were to compile reports and brief supervisors daily on CBS's talent's social media updates. I also gathered information on many potential co-hosts for a new afternoon talk show. Sitting in on my supervisors meetings and phone calls also gave me a good understanding of the nature and politics of the entertainment industry as well as the delicate art of public relations.
