Liz Peters
Miles and I worked together on Windows Phone as design integrators. He was my lead and trained me in processes, code, and proprietary programs. His patience and problem-solving skills with our team made him an endless asset. Whenever anyone needed help, Miles was often the first out of his seat to offer his assistance. During the peak season, his friendly nature and good humor made it easier to endure the long hours our team pulled. If given the chance, I would absolutely work with Miles again; he was dedicated, a great team leader, and an all-around fun person to collaborate with.

I'm part of the Windows Design Development team at Microsoft. In the years I've been on this team, my role has shifted in various directions. Most recently, I have worked on the Microsoft Store website and my current role is centered on prototyping for Windows using React and Redux. My day-to-day involves building new components and behaviors for the team's prototype app, mentoring and code reviews for teammates, and interfacing with designers to build out scenarios they want to test or present. I also regularly work across teams with other prototyping teams at Microsoft to share knowledge and code and try to avoid reinventing too many wheels. I'm proficient in JavaScript (ES6) and particularly enjoy working in React. I'm also an expert at HTML and CSS (and Sass). Show less
