My main task is to monitor day to day production and continuously improve on processes, scrap, and machine utilization. Other tasks include training of new die setters and process technicians, cycle time improvements, and DOE's for dimensional or aesthetic improvements.

I worked as a Process Technician for 2 years in Grand Rapids. My main duties were to start molding machines efficiently as possible and troubleshoot any processing or programming issues.

Intern

I have worked for Lacks in the summers of 2011-2013. The first two years I spent in R&D where tasks included: part inspection, material handling, assist with process setup, and assisting with mold changes. My last summer I was in a variety of areas that included: quality, tool room, process technician, and die setter. Some tasks included: process technician start-ups, shutdowns, and troubleshooting, tool room PMs and small mold repairs on production tools, and complete mold changes for 500-2200 ton machines.
