I work closely with GP Surgeries to act as the link between the practice and Spire Washington Hospital to resolve queries, facilitate referrals and build loyalty. • I am responsible for growing the business through the increase of GP referrals, including self-pay, insured and NHS. • I act as a designated point of contact for GP’s with the hospital and for potential business opportunities. • I develop the hospital GP event programme locally, liaising with consultants, venues, sponsors and staff to create an informative and beneficial programme for GPs with the aim of growing hospital referrals. • I develop and maintain a GP communication programme with a focus on literature and online communication. • Being able to network and promote the hospital with the GP’s, Practice Managers and secretaries • I aim to build and maintian long term sustainable relationships with over 600 GP surgeries across the North of England (from Morpeth to Carlisle and down to Richmond) • I keep abreast of current changes in NHS practices by attending relevant conferences and NHS meetings • I undertake detailed research and analysis to understand the NHS and private market to make the most out of emerging opportunities in the region.
