Studies have been show that species of Cnidarians have biological rhythmicity responsible for the existence of internal cycles which have influence and control of functions related to metabolism, growth, movement of the body and tentacles. In order to continue the studies about rhythmic behavior in individuals of this phylum the project analyzed the activity levels of Nausithoe aurea. I watched and reported the behavior of the polyps and their movement such as tentacles exposition and body contraction in certain times along the day to find pattern that could show a biological circadian rhythmicity. The results didn't show significants differences between the established schedules of analyze, although the conclusion indicates that new experiments should be done to confirm the hypothesis.
