Well Placement Engineer/Geologist

As Well Placement Engineer I executed geosteering projects in horizontal and landing wells placements using geological criteria and real-time measurements. As part of PTS (PetroTechnical Service) segment inside PTEC (PetroTechnical Engineer Center). We worked with development wells in the Campos Basin, Espírito Santos Basin and Campos Basin using the most advanced drilling technology and tools. We provide field support with Geology and Structural modeling build and updated in real time making decisions using Petrel software and geosteering plugins, image borehole and reservoir engineer interpretation. • Expertise in projects with Petrobras and some abroad in Venezuela, working for PDVSA • Responsible for geosteering projects in major Marginal Brazilian Sedimentary Basins with developments fields that are responsible for the current production records as Marlim Sul and Marlim. • Conducting many presentations and meetings about the projects executed, Pre-Jobs and Post-Jobs emphasized the benefits of the technique of Well Placement and consolidating the excellent results obtained from the use of this technique. • Consolidation of Well Placement techniques globally, building along with the whole team a portfolio that is currently followed by the company worldwide and makes the world leader in this technique. • Participation in development projects and implementation of the newest technology tools used in Well Placement techniques, as the new Deep Directional Resistivity tool (DDR). • Experience and contact in several other areas as Petrophysics, Borehole Geology and Reservoir Engineer • Deep understanding in some softwares as Petrel * (and geosteering plugins), Techlog* and GeoFrame*. Experiencie some commercial others as ArcGis and Corel Draw. • Participation in several internal publications such as participation in Reservoir Symposium, in a Schlumberger award for performance due a huge Project in Marlim Sul Field and some knowledgement shares and recognized.
