One day, long before the Internet was in every pocket, I realised I didn't know much about anything. I'd ticked the university box, the promising career box, and now what? I stumbled upon magazine and newspaper articles talking about yoga. These encounters, quite simply, changed my life. My yoga practice became a home, and I became hungry for more. Slowly I found a quiet(er) spot in my head that I learned to trust. That trust led me eventually to India. In the first day I was ripped off at the airport and wanted to go home. However, for each terrible encounter an equally opposite followed, and ten visits and ten years later I received a sought after teaching authorization. Since then, I've taught thousands of people in four continents and helped improve their physical and mental health through over 20,000 hours of individual teaching. I've handled the business side, but my focus remains on being a teacher and helping people lead more sane lives. Show less

Building and running Mysore Yoga CPH was a journey nothing short of exciting and it taught me to embrace the challenges and rise above them - in business, communication, marketing, customer service, yoga teaching, training new teachers, and building up the culture and sense of community. My proudest moments were seeing the studio grow from a small group of students to a thriving community of dedicated practitioners, and one of the leading studios in Copenhagen.
