Policy Change/Advocacy: Mr. Jacevic managed an $8M initiative to develop and implement NAP on UN SCR 1325, reaching 40 governments and hundreds of NGOs. He continues to provide a range of services, including the design, implementation, coordination with civil society organizations, and monitoring and evaluation. Previously, Mr. Jacevic evaluated plans in Bosnia, Nigeria, Indonesia, and Finland, among others. Leadership Development and Training: Mr. Jacevic designed and facilitated over 700 trainings in Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, and Asia and he has developed and executed multi-year partnerships to deliver capacity building and leadership development Train the Trainers programs in over 30 countries. Mr. Jacevic developed academic courses/seminars on various peacebuilding topics at several international universities and schools. He authored a curriculum on inclusive peace processes. Mr. Jacevic oversaw the creation of specialized curricula on conflict analysis and resolution, security sector reform, national action plans (NAP) development, and advocacy for sustainable peace. He managed programming and training for 18 annual conferences for government policymaker, military, humanitarian, NGO, and academic communities hosted by Harvard University. Conflict Country Program Management: Mr. Jacevic managed a staff of more than 20 employees in Afghanistan, Bosnia, Colombia, Iraq, Liberia, Pakistan, Sudan, South Sudan. His specific focus included building an inclusive Afghan Peace and Reconstruction Programme, Liberian post-conflict development strategy, inclusive and transparent National Dialogue in Sudan, Colombian transitional justice and disarmament structures, and Pakistan police reform initiatives.

Mr. Jacevic managed the program to assist the Iraqi government and civil society actors to assess the impact of national policies and programs, including reconciliation strategy. He was a core team member on the USAID grant for preventing/countering violent extremism in West Africa, responsible for drafting a curriculum for policy makers and civil society actors to curb radicalization, enhance community resilience, and help create space for sustainable reconciliation. Mr. Jacevic was a core team member on a 3 year USAID grant to promote religious co-existence and community reconciliation in Bosnia and he was the chief facilitator of public dialogues in 10 municipalities hardest hit by the conflict. From 2004 to 2010, he was on the Board of Directors and guided the organizational shift from primarily being funded by individual donors to receiving multi-year, multi-million dollar donor funded contracts and grants.

Mr. Jacevic co-founded this organization focused on involving youth in genocide prevention and hosted an annual conflict resolution study tour to Bosnia. He created a curriculum tailored to each year’s specific group of youth with a specific emphasis on transitional justice, human rights, and governance issues and he coordinated with 25 local partner organizations around the country.
