When Michael joined Scripted we had a healthy self-serve, low-touch SaaS business, but no sales operation whatsoever. He was the very first member of our sales team. Early on it was tough. I didn't know how to effectively leverage sales. We tried a couple of different approaches, but couldn't settle on the right high-touch value proposition (let alone when in the customer journey to present it).
