This was a long term assignment which developed into a Financial Controllers role. It involved the financial control, reporting, budgeting and analysis of the Australian Filtration Textile business and supervision of a small team. The Consolidated Global group included Australia, China, Mexico and Brazil. During divestiture by Albany Intl to private equity owners of this business in 2008 I provided due diligence data During my time at Albany I travelled extensively to China to establish, train and support new manufacturing and accounting operations. I also undertook Six Sigma champion training in Guangzhou China and was a member of several international SAP implementation teams. I provided the senior executive team with analysis and strategic advice aimed at improving the quality of decision making in regards to sales, marketing and manufacturing functions.
