Crazy smart, super effective, professional, approachable, and can take a team of jrs./coops and guide them to delivering state-of-the-art solutions that rival anything in the marketplace today. He is, in a word, outstanding. He will upgrade, improve any team he's given to manage. Highly recommended.

I brought Michael into XBOX being betting on his wireless capabilities and leadership potential. Over the course of our work together he demonstrated far more; doing a great job in both the conventional wireless space and development of IP in unconventional innovative technologies. Along the way he advanced a broader perspective in systems, communications and protocol; encouraging team members to develop new ideas. I felt I had a great replacement candidate for myself and my group would be in good hands. In my opinion Microsoft lost a great guy to a thoughtless reorganization.
